Our client based in London are seeking a Change Lead to provide the following skills and knowledge:
Reporting to the InfoSec Programme Portfolio Lead, the Change Lead engages ITIL change management principles to ensure standardised methods and procedures are used to efficiently and promptly handle all changes and minimise the number and impact of related incidents on service.
The Change Lead is responsible for maintaining the Service Catalogue through collaboration with key ITM personnel.
You will are responsible for prioritising and planning risk mitigation and risk control activities, ensuring standardised methods, processes and procedures are engaged.
The Change Lead supports all production change activities to support products and services, collaborating with business groups to ensure smooth service transitions.
Assists in planning, analysis, development and implementation to provide clear, measurable and coordinated approach to change management and communication strategies.
Maintains and updates change management documents, change communication planning and development of change management initiatives.
Assists with research and preparation of best practices in change management and communication initiatives to ensure appropriate methodologies are considered.
Ensures new products and services satisfy operational standards, received proper infrastructure and application testing and are accompanied by supporting documentation.
Coordinate the identification, assessment and communication of operational risks.
Produces effective reporting on change activities and associated risks.
Manages the tools and technologies involved in change management processes to ensure they are appropriate and effective in delivering the desired outcomes.
Liaise closely with the InfoSec Risk and Compliance manager to ensure that risks arising from change requests are documented and managed throughout their lifecycle.
Mentor and guide Information Security Change team in carrying out related activities. Coordinate and delegate tasks as required.
Provide guidance and coaching to Information Security Change team regarding deliverables and related processes.
Manages hardware and software change processes and all related documentation associated with running, supporting and maintaining systems in the production environment.
Supports change implementations and related communications for production environments.
Collaborates with production control team to develop change management plans, training and adoption of strategies and obtains agreement on tactical priorities and actions.
Ensures all changes are assessed, approved, implemented and reviewed according to the local standards.
Experience in effectively assessing, communicating and integrating changes in a production environment.
Ability to define and establish KPI and service levels that translate into improved change experiences.
Experience in making necessary operations adjustments based on KPI trends.
Ability to assess security changes in the context of security or operational risks and identify escalation points in line with policy where risks may exceed tolerance.
Experience with monitoring service levels based on change agreements.
Experienced in integrating change management processes with incident and release management.
Strong experience with risk and issues management.
Experience in an Information Security technical or operations role.
Experience in facilitating change transitions, including collaboration with Production Control team.
Familiarity with and demonstrated understanding of enterprise's business and technical architecture is beneficial.
Working knowledge of related tooling (e.g. Jira, Remedy etc.) that can be used to manage, automate and deliver change requirements.
Ability to build relationships across functions and challenge change requirements that are poorly defined or may impact on security risks
Education ideally required;
Educated to Degree level or higher, preferably in a computing, engineering or information security related discipline.
ITIL Foundations / Practitioner (Change and Release) is desirable.
Project & Programme Management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) qualifications desirable.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM & CISA qualifications are beneficial.
