IT Service Desk Analyst - Global Support
IT Service Desk Support Analyst required to join a very successful and established Professional Services Company in Glasgow City Centre on a day rate contract basis
You will join a fast-paced Service Desk to provide first/ second line support to a busy global user base. You will be tasked with the timely first line desktop, mobile and application support for all internal users to ensure minimum downtime and disruption.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced Service Desk environment. This role would be suited to a candidate with strong working knowledge of Windows Desktops, Office suite and MDM experience.
You will have a proven ability to deliver great customer service experience with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with and work well with users at all levels of the business.
The standard working week will be Monday to Friday with an 7.5 hour working day including an hour for lunch. This is an evening shift which will fall between 12 Noon and 12 Midnight.
Key Skills and Experience
** Microsoft Office XP/WIN7/2003 and 2010 - Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
** Knowledge of Document Management Systems would be beneficial
** CRM application knowledge: Ideally Interaction
** Knowledge of Dictation Software: Bighand 3 or similar
** Active Directory Administration
** Email Archiving Solutions: Ideally K Vault
** Installation/moves of hardware such as printers, digital senders, MFD's (multi-function devices), PC's and all peripheral items
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established client for an initial 12-month period. Roles with such a long initial contract such as this are few and far between and I expect the response to be exceptionally high - it's advisable to apply ASAP.
